In 2021 cancer would take me out the running shoes, take me away from a passion and love. An operation and chemotherapy would see me back on the road to recovery and set a new path for the future.
A determination to recover, to rebuild stronger and to use the cancer journey I’ve been on as a positive impact upon my life. A return to the shoes saw me transition to Ultra and Endurance running.

My blog will share my running journey, race reports, hints, tips and some of the training programmes I use. If you are training for your first 100K ultra marathon there is a great blog series full of real-world experience, the highs and the lows of training.
Since recovery I made a commitment to support others, through designing extreme running challenges I will fundraise for cancer and mental health charities, to date I have raised over £8700, all with your support.
