Cancer can be a very vulnerable and lonely time, when I came through cancer in 2021 I made a commitment to support others, and would do so through my love of running.
I set myself a target to raise £10,000 for cancer and mental health charities. To date I have raised over £8700 on the events I design and take on, you can find those on the Completed Events page.
I am often asked outside of these events how I can be supported, and for this reason have setup a JustGiving page to help me achieve that goal of £10,000.
100% of the donations will be divided between ChemoHero, The Oddballs Foundation and YoungMinds. 3 charities I have supported over the last year as the work they do is incredibly important.
CHEMOHERO
Provide boxes of kindness to cancer patients at their first chemotherapy treatment. The charity was setup by Lisa Wallis whilst she was going through breast cancer treatment, Lisa lived with cancer for 9 years before sadly passing away in 2021 leaving behind her husband and young family
