Reason for this run
Originally scheduled for September '21, I chose to do a tough run as my Mum was having a tough time having lost her sister who had dementia. I'd undertake something tough to show Mum I understood and to raise a little for The Alzheimer's Society.
The run would be postponed for a year after I was diagnosed with cancer in mid 2021.
Coming back to running after an operation and chemotherapy I was more determined than ever to make a difference and chose to raise vital funds for The Alzheimer's Society, Macmillan Cancer Support and YoundMinds.
